Item is a used CIA Central States Industrial skid mounted CIP system. The system was installed in approximately 2019/2020 in a medium sized craft brewery. The CIA system has the following unique features-

Central States Industrial (CSI) three-tank Clean-in-Place (CIP) system is a high-capacity, automated cleaning skid designed to sanitize processing equipment, piping, and vessels without disassembly. Compared to single- or two-tank setups, a three-tank configuration offers greater flexibility and efficiency by allowing the system to pre-heat and store multiple cleaning solutions simultaneously.

Core Components & Configuration

The three-tank system typically includes dedicated reservoirs for different stages of the cleaning cycle: 

• Water/Rinse Tank: Used for pre-rinsing loose debris and final rinsing of cleaning agents.
• Caustic Tank: Stores an alkaline detergent (typically 140–185°F) used to break down organic soils like fats and proteins.
• Acid Tank: Stores acidic solutions (typically 130–150°F) to remove mineral scale and neutralize pH.

• Hygienic Design: Built with 316L stainless steel wetted parts and high-efficiency sanitary pumps, such as the Alfa Laval LKH series, to ensure thorough scrubbing and prevent contamination.
