Used Imtec model 3540A thermal transfer, label printer/applicator. The machine was manufactured in 1995. It is used to print and apply bar code labels. Standard label size ranges from .5 to 5.51 inches high and 1 inch to 8 inches long. The machine features high quality thermal transfer printing (0.005 inch square dot) with 203 dots per inch. The machine utilizes an air cylinder drive, tamp style label applicator. Label application speeds are approximately 1000 inches per minute. |

Used five gallon bottled water filling line. It consists of a D&L washer, ELF 3 spout filler and snap cap capper. The rinser is a 3 station rotary unit that has had additional heating elements installed so that it could be operated at higher speeds. It is a model quad 120. The rinser requires an operator to put bottles on the machine and take the washed bottles off. The rinser runs on 240 volt, 3 phase power. The filler is a 3 head elf filler and is plc controlled. The filling and capping functions are fully automatic. Line was installed approximately 12 years ago. The line was operating at 240 bph. The rinser is rated at 120 bpm but different heating elements up the production rates. It was removed from service in 1998. The owner installed a 1200 bph filling line. |

Used Hartness International case packer Model 850. The machine was manufactured in 1991. This is an all stainless steel machine utilizing plastic tabletop chain. This is a dual head machine dropping containers into two cartons at a time. This machine has a mechanical trip mechanism rather than the air bag system. Hartness rebuilt the machine in mid 1996 at which time the air transfer was changed to a mechanical trip operation. The machine has not been put back into service since that time. Machine is designed to run at up to 25 cycles per minute (50 cases). Machine is currently set up with change parts to run 2 liter and 3 liter soda bottles. Hartness can convert the machine to continuous motion and has done so on many of the existing machines. |

Used Pack West, rotary capper having 8 capping heads. The machine operates left to right and was set up to be powered by the filler through a jack shaft. The machine is currently set up to run a 43 mm cap on a juice bottle. Also included with the machine are change parts for qt. glass containers, as well as 32 oz., 64 oz., 96 oz., and 128 oz plastic containers. This machine is capable of running up to a one gallon bottle or jug on each station. Also, included with the machine is the cap hopper, elevator, and controls for supplying the cap sorter with caps. The owner was running a cap with a break away tamper evident ring and it was necessary to utilize a steam box to heat the caps before application in order to not break the ring. The machine has a new steam box. Included with the machine are many spare maintenance parts. Production rates are figured at 25 bpm per head, or approximately 200 bpm. |
