(1) Available - Used Jenrey craft tunnel pasteurizer model J50 Tunnel Of Love. The Jenrey "Tunnel of Love" pasteurizer is a line of industrial tunnel pasteurizers for canned and bottled beverages, designed and manufactured by the Canadian company Jenrey Ltd. The model J50 is designated as such beacuse it is rated at 50 cpm.

Key Features and Function

• Function: The machine is an automatic system used for post-packaging pasteurization of beverages such as beer, ciders, juices, and non-alcoholic drinks, to kill microorganisms, ensure product safety, and extend shelf life.
• Process: Packaged cans or bottles are conveyed through a heated tunnel where hot water is sprayed over them to raise the internal product temperature to around 66°C (150°F) and held for a specified time to achieve the desired Pasteurization Units (PUs). The product is then rapidly cooled to stop the process.
• Capacity: The "Tunnel of Love" line offers various capacities, typically ranging from 25 cans per minute (CPM) up to 250 CPM, and the specific "J50" refers to this model - capable of processing around 50 cans per minute.
• Design: It is known for having a small footprint compared to other industrial tunnel pasteurizers, making it suitable for operations with limited space, such as craft breweries.
• Modularity: The systems are modular, allowing additional sections to be added to increase capacity as production demands grow.
• Additional Use: The system can also be used as a can warmer to eliminate post-packaging condensation, which is important for proper labeling and packaging integrity when using cardboard carriers.

This system is designed to pasteuirze utilizing steam and the system includes a 2021 Fulton vertical natural gas steam boiler - Model FB-015-A with feedwater/blowdown tank and pump. The Fulton Model FB-015-A is a fuel-fired steam boiler manufactured by Fulton. It is a 15 horsepower (HP) boiler that can produce 518 pounds of steam per hour and has a maximum working pressure of 150 PSI. This model runs on natural gas and is often used for industrial heating, food processing, and manufacturing. The boiler included with this pasteuirzer is trimmmed to operate at 15 psi. It is in excellent shape.

This pasteurizer and boiler were set up to run with a Codi craft canning line (also available for sale at additional cost). New cost for this pasteurizer today is approximately $160,000 with the discharge can drying system and blower enclosure. The steam boiler with feedwater/blowdown was approximatley $30,000 and it includes the water softener system that has never been used. The system is still in line but scheduled for removal immediatley.
