Alfa Laval SRU5/116/LS Positive Pump

Item is a used, Alfa Laval model SRU5/116/LS positive displacement pump. This a rotary, lobe pump with the rotors specifically designed for smooth, low shear pumping action. Results in gentle handling of sensitive fluids within the dairy, food, beverage, biotechnology, and pharmaceutical industries. All S/S construction. The pump has 2 1/2" clamp style ports and is powered with a 5 HP, S/S clad motor turning at 1750 RPM. Maximum pump RPM is 600, generating a maximum product output of approximately 180 GPM. Power requirement is 230/460 volt- 3 phase. Motor, gear reduction unit and pump are mounted on S/S base.
